Preparation

Close all windows, vents, curtains and blinds. If needed seal gaps around windows and doors. Stand all cushions upright; cover electronics; open all closets and cabinets.

Activate & Treat

Open the clear packaging carefully, as the shell is used as the holder. Fill the holder with hot tap water. Place the DeOdorPRO packet in water, blue side down, and set on a central, flat area. Treatment time is a minimum of 6 hours, ideally overnight. Close and lock the doors and windows, to let the chlorine dioxide gas go to work!

*NOTE: No people, pets or plants should be in the space during activation since the non-toxic gas is a respiratory irritant.

 

Air Out

Open all windows and doors after you have properly activated and disposed of the packet according to our safety instructions. Once your space airs out for up to 6 hours, you can now enjoy the fresh, neutralized air without harmful cover-up scents!

 

MORE INFORMATION:

1. Air temperature should be no lower then 60 degrees and warmer when possible.

2. R/H should be a minimum of 50% and preferably 65 to 70% during treatment for maximum gas absorption.

3. Prevent sunlight from entering space, curtains, blinds are adequate.

4 .Increased dwell time allows for higher absorption, 12 hour treatments are recommended.

5. Distribution of gas by way of HVAC system on recirculate. Small fans or ceiling fans may also be used to circulate the gas evenly in open layouts.

6. Multiple rooms without HVAC require the placement of smaller packs in each room. Gas is lazy as it is heavier then air!

7. Preparation is to ensure the gas is not escaping, blue painters is sometimes needed. Doggy doors, fireplaces, all windows and doors checked and sealed.
